About the valley
Hunza sits in the far north of Gilgit-Baltistan, ringed by Rakaposhi, Ultar Sar and the Passu Cones. The valley is famous as much for its terraced orchards and turquoise Attabad Lake as for the longevity and hospitality of the people who live there.
Our programmes are built around slower travel: three or four nights based in Karimabad or Gulmit, day trips out to Khunjerab Pass and Passu, and enough unscheduled time to actually sit and look at the mountains.
